China Glaze - Deviantly Daring

I, like others where so excited about the New Bohemian collection from China Glaze.  Then I saw the swatches on Scrangie's blog and I got so sad.  There where nothing like I was expecting. I wasnt going to get any of them but when I got to my local Sally's store I had to get at least one.  I liked Rare and Radiant (the Channel dupe) but the day before I picked up OPI's Just Spotted a Lizard.  I also liked No Plain Jane but again, the day before I picked up Iris my Case by Nicole by OPI.  Turns out that is an exact dupe for No Plain Jane.  So I decided to go for Defiantly Darling.

It is really a beautiful color but wasn't the dual chrome I was expecting.

When I first opened my bottle this is what I found:

Now that is just sad isn't? .... It was so hard and frustrating to paint with.

Here it is on my nails.  You can see it is teal with a slight green hint.  It is a pretty color but there is something about it that I am not happy with.  Maybe it was the application... with that wonky brush and all.

Maybe I will swap it someday.

If you happen to be at Wal-Mart you should stop into their beauty store.  There OPIs are buy 1 and get 2 free.  It is not include the new Fall polishes but the polishes that are for sale are ones that where released this year and older.

Here is what I got:

This is Austin-Tatious Turquoise.
I have not swatched this yet but it seems sheer with turquoise sparkle with a hint of purple.  I have read on other sites that on the nail it comes off with a slight grey undertone.
But overall it looks beautiful.  I will have to add it to my mani "to-do list".

This is My Private Jet.  It is a bit of an odd color.  It is defiantly brown but it has different color sparkles in there.  It looks like it could have some burgundy in there.   It looks like could be a scattered holo.

Ok, so this picture is very deceiving.  I find teals very hard to photograph.  This is called Yodel me on My Cell.  It is a dark teal.  I believe you can never go wrong with a dark teal.













That was all I got.  My store was pretty much picked over already.  It leads me to believe that there are some fellow nail polish forum members that live around me.

Indie Polish Review - Pound of Glitter

Today's review is on another Indie Polish.

This is my second review on one of Pound of Glitter's Polishes.  This one is a sheer mint base with silver and purple glitter and a bit of holographic glow.  It kind of reminds me of an Easter morning.

Pros:
- Great combo of colors.  The purple glitter pops.
- Sheer so you can build it up or add one of your favorite undies.
- Love the touch of Holographic glitter.
- Is available in full size 

Cons:
- I wish there was a bit more purple glitter in the polish.  But that is just my opinion.
